Obituary of Nicola Costagliola
Nicola Costagliola, 74, of Millstone Township died Saturday, May 6, 2017 at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. He was born in Naples, Italy and had resided in Millstone Township for the past 44 years.
He was the proprietor of Vesuvio’s Family Restaurant, Millstone Township for the past 30 years.
He was a communicant of St. Joseph’s R.C. Church, Millstone Township. He was a donor and supporter of many Millstone Township organizations. He was a member of the U.S. Trotting Association.
He was a devoted father, husband, and grandfather who was dedicated to his family.
Nick loved life, people, and nature. He loved talking to his customers. He also enjoyed raising animals and planting his garden and fruit trees.
Surviving are his wife, Mary Scotto Costagliola; two sons, Luigi Costagliola and Francesco Costagliola and wife Denise; two daughters, AnnaMarie Brunt and husband Cliff and Theresa Reitnauer and husband Jonathan; two brothers, Dominic and Archangelo Costagliola; two sisters, Maria Guardasione and Vincenza Pryor; and two grandchildren, Mia and Nicola Costagliola.
The viewing will be held at St. Joseph’s R.C. Church, 91 Stillhouse Road, Millstone Township on Wednesday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. The Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at St. Joseph’s Church on Thursday at 11:00 a.m. followed by interment at the parish cemetery.
Nick was a loving, giving person who donated to many organizations, therefore, in lieu of flowers memorial donations to the Donate Life America, Ronald McDonald House, or a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
