Obituary of Ruby Gloria Lofland

Ruby Gloria Lofland, 74, of Freehold died July 9, 2015 at her home. She was born in Detroit, Michigan and had resided in Freehold since 1959. Mrs. Lofland was employed at the Montgomery Care Center, Freehold for 27 years before her retirement. She was a member of the New Hope Baptist Church, Freehold. She was predeceased by her parents, Benny and Louise Holiness; a son, Leslie Dwayne Morgan; a sister, Barbara Jean Love, and a nephew, Jeffrey Love. Surviving are her husband, Major “Jack” Lofland; two stepsons, Marvin Lofland and Nate Lofland; two stepdaughters, Mildred Edwards and Linda Henderson; niece, Penina Love, and nephews, Joe Love Jr. and Kevin Love, and a great nephew, Joshua Love. The viewing will be held at the New Hope Baptist Church, 28 First Street, Freehold on Tuesday from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. Funeral services will be held at the church at 11:00 a.m. followed by interment at Maplewood Cemetery, Freehold. Higgins Memorial Home, Freehold is in charge of arrangements.
