Obituary of Walter K. Normann

Walter K. Normann, 65, of Howell Township died Monday, February 20, 2017 at Ocean Medical Center, Brick Township. He was born in Neptune Township. Walt was a graduate of Howell High School He and his brother Bruce operated Normann Electric; a family owned electrical contracting business in Howell and was passionate about his profession. Walt was a giving person throughout his life and after his death continued to provide help to others as an organ donor. If he wasn’t snoring he was working at his profession. He enjoyed watching westerns and court t.v. but favored no television judge. He was predeceased by his parents, Karl and Jane Smith Normann and a sister, Lorraine Boyce. Surviving are his wife Cathy Normann; a son, Jason W. Normann; three brothers, Karl Normann, Jr., Bruce Normann, and Albert Normann; a sister, Holly Oberfield; many nieces and nephews; and great nieces and nephews. The viewing will be held at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold on Friday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. A prayer service and time of remembrance will be held during the viewing at 7:45 p.m. In lieu of flowers memorial donations to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 would be appreciated.
