Obituary of Julia A. Skupski

Julia A. Skupski, of Whiting died February 8, 2017 at Crestwood Manor, Whiting. Mrs. Skupski was born in Scranton, Pennsylvania. Julia owned and operated a farm stand in Howell. Once retired she and her husband enjoyed many years of surf fishing along the Jersey coast. Above all else she loved family gatherings and time together. She was the widow of Walter Skupski who died in 2000. She was also predeceased by a daughter, Anne and a granddaughter, Julie Anne. Surviving are a son, Walter J. Skupski, Jr. and his wife, Janice Malone, four grandchildren, Steve Gilbertson and wife Ursula, Cheryl LaMirand, Christine Gilbertson and husband Chad, and Rick Skupski, four great grandchildren, Rachel, Blake, Bronte, and Sabin; and a great great grandchild, Lilith. Private services will be held under the direction of the Higgins Memorial Home, Freehold.
