Obituary of Gloria V. King

Gloria V. King, 87, of Freehold passed away on Monday, February 6, 2017 at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. Born in Barbados, she lived there prior to setting in Freehold 34 years ago. Miss King was a certified nurse’s aide at John L. Montgomery Medical Home, Freehold. Surviving are her sons, Hammond M. Batson, Freehold, and Winslow Phillips, Barbados; her daughters, Marriett Batson, Freehold, and Hareldine Phillips, Barbados; seven grandchildren; and several great grandchildren. Visitation will be held at the Higgins memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold on Thursday, February 9, 2017 from 9:30 to 10:30 A.M. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home at 10:30 A.M. Interment will follow at Maplewood Cemetery, Freehold.
