Obituary of Sean Thomas O'Brien

Sean Thomas O’Brien, 32, of Morganville died Monday, February 6, 2017 at home. Sean was a graduate of Calvert Hall College High School, Towson, Maryland and Towson University Towson, Maryland. Sean participated in many local theater groups and enjoyed plays, acting, and theater. Sean enjoyed karaoke weekly. He was a Baltimore Ravens fan. He would make a yearly trip to see the Baltimore Orioles with his dad and his uncles. He was also an avid reader and fisherman. Surviving are his parents, William J. and Sandra J. Applegate O’Brien; his uncles and aunts, Loretta Tighe-Reddy, Thomas O'Brien and wife Fee, John O'Brien and wife Tara, Robert Greeley and wife Mary, Dr. James C. Day, Jr. and wife Kathleen and John Robert Rose, Jr. and wife Patricia; and 20 cousins. Visiting hours will be held at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold on Friday from 3:00 to 5:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. The Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at St. Thomas More R.C. Church, 186 Gordons Corner Road, Manalapan Township on Saturday at 10:00 a.m. followed by interment at St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Keyport. Memorial donations to the McMillen Scholars Program at Calvert Hall College, 8102 La Salle Road, Baltimore, MD 21286 would be appreciated.
