Obituary of Marie R. LaForgia

Marie R. LaForgia, 89, of Freehold died Saturday, January 21, 2017 at her daughter’s home in Freehold Township. Mrs. LaForgia was born in Hoboken and had resided in Freehold for most of her life. She was a communicant of St. Rose of Lima Church, Freehold and a member of the church’s Altar Rosary Society. Her husband, Danny J. LaForgia died in 1997. Surviving are three daughters, Theresa Ferrara, Rose Ann Polo and husband Chip, and Donna Lovgren and husband Kevin; three brothers, Joseph Lisa, Robert Lisa and wife Florence, and John Lisa and wife June; seven grandchildren, Lisa Rose Ferrara, Danny and Nicholas Polo, Cody and Dylan Lovgren, and Jenna and Cameron Lisa; her great grandchildren, Julia, Sebastian, and Alexander Ronneburger and Luciano Polo; and many nieces and nephews. The viewing will be held at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold on Tuesday from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. The Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at St. Rose of Lima Church, Freehold on Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers memorial donations care of the family would be appreciated
