Obituary of Michael Thomas Gallagher

Michael Thomas Gallagher, 67 of Manalapan Township passed away on Thursday, January 19, 2017 at his sister’s home in Howell Township. Born in New York City, New York, he lived there and in Cliffside Park prior to moving to Manalapan Township ten years ago. Mr. Gallagher was a mail room worker for Hearst Corporation, New York City, New York. He was predeceased by his parents, Peter and Margaret Preston Gallagher, and a sister, Patricia Pantiliano. Surviving are his brother, Peter Joseph Gallagher, Howell Township; his sisters, Kathleen M. Ott, Manalapan Township, Margaret Gerbasi and Helen Pantiliano, both of Greenville, North Carolina, and Deborah Sanchez and Sheilah Molloy, both of Howell Township; and several nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends may call at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold, on Monday, January 23, 2017 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Old Tennent Cemetery, Tennent.
