Obituary of Patricia Pearl Deedmeyer
Patricia Pearl Deedmeyer, 80, of Freehold died Sunday, January 15, 2017 at Centra State Medical Center surrounded by loving family. Patricia was born and resided in Freehold all her life. She was employed in her early working years at Katz’Appliance Store on South Street. She was a long time parishioner of St. Rose of Lima R.C. Church where she wed her High School sweetheart, the late Lee H. Deedmeyer Sr. Her last eight years, spent at The Manor-Centra State offered her tender care and many friends.
She is predeceased by her husband, Lee H. Deedmeyer Sr. who died in 2008 and a brother George McChesney Jr. in 2009.
Surviving are her daughter, Dina Kudlack and husband Eric Kudlack and son, Lee H. Deedmeyer Jr.and wife,Tara Deedmeyer. She was blessed with five grandchildren, Briana Countryman, Lindsey Coyne, Frank Kudlack, Whitney Deedmeyer and Ana Kudlack and great grandchildren Kieran and Charlotte Coyne and one on the way. Also survived by her brother, William McChesney of The Villages, Florida. Though her loving presence will be sorely missed the gifts she shared will endure her to many.
Patty enjoyed her life as wife, mom, and homemaker. She was an avid gardener. Her special loves were the Jersey shore, particularly Long Beach Island and the New York Yankees.
Visiting will take place at Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold on Friday from 4:00 to 8:00pm. The Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at St. Rose of Lima R.C. Church on Saturday at 10:00am followed by interment at Maplewood Cemetery. Memorial donations to the St. Vincent de Paul Society of St. Rose of Lima Church, Freehold or Centra State Healthcare Foundation (note in memo, Manor Activity Restricted Fund) would be appreciated.
