Obituary of William George Cromer

William George Cromer, 62, of Jackson Township died Friday, January 13, 2017 at home. He was born in Neptune Township and had resided in Freehold before moving to Jackson Township. He was employed at the Colts Neck Township Public Work Department before his retirement. He was a former member of Colts Neck Township Fire Company No. 1. Surviving are his mother, Evelyn Emmons Cromer; four brothers, Charles, Jr., Donald, James, and Robert; and two sisters, Barbara Ilaria and Susan Rice. Visiting will be held at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold on Tuesday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. followed by interment at Old Tennent Cemetery, Tennent.
