Obituary of James Stanley

James “Jimmy” Stanley, 79, of Monroe Township died January 9, 2017 at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. He was born in Andalusia, Alabama. Jimmy was a cook at the Howard Johnson’s Restaurant, Asbury Park before his retirement. He is survived by his brother, Willie Stanley. Funeral services will be held at the Old Ship of Zion Baptist Church, 629 Buckalew Road, Monroe Township on Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. followed by interment at Old Tennent Cemetery, Tennent. Visitation will be held at the church on Tuesday from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. The Higgins Memorial Home, Freehold is in charge of arrangements.
