Obituary of Raymond A. Pickell

Raymond A. Pickell, 96 of Freehold, passed away on Thursday, January 12, 2017 at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. Born in White House Station, he lived in the Morganville section of Marlboro Township prior to moving to Freehold in 1973. Mr. Pickell was a custodian for the Wemrock Professional Mall, Freehold for over twenty years. He was a U. S. Air Force veteran of World War Two. Surviving are his wife, Susan J. Hauck Pickell; a son and daughter-in-law, Raymond and Barbara Pickell; four daughters and sons-in-law, Dolores and Russ Hardenber, Diane and Paul Veltre, Susan Mitchell, and Tracy and Steven Gardner; two brothers, Kenneth and Harold Pickell; a sister, Margaret Hanna; 17 grandchildren; and several great grandchildren. Visitation will be held at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold, on Monday, January 16, 2017 2:00 to 4:00 P.M. and 7:00 to 8:00 P.M. Funeral services will be held at 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
