Obituary of Roberta R. Staudt

Roberta R. Staudt, 87, of Freehold died July 13, 2015 at Wedgwood Gardens, Freehold Township. Mrs. Staudt was born in Jersey City and had resided in Clifton before moving to Freehold. She was a communicant of St. Mary’s Church, Colts Neck where she served as Eucharistic minister and member of the Martha Mary Guild. She was the widow of John J. Staudt who died in 1990. She was also predeceased by a son, John J. Staudt, Jr. in 1987 and her first husband Frank Bianchi and children Diane and David Bianchi, all who died in 1950’s. Surviving are a daughter and son-in-law, Joanmary and David Lavitz;; two grandchildren, Rachel and Jack; her niece, Linda Brocken Heaton; two nephews, John Brocken and Glenn Brocken, and sister-in-law Rita Brocken Visiting will be held at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold on Monday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. The Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at St. Mary’s Church, 1 Phalanx Road, Colts Neck on Tuesday at 9:00 a.m. followed by interment at Calvary Cemetery, Paterson. Memorial donations to the Alzheimer’s Association would be appreciated.
