Obituary of Linda Lee Stubbs

Linda Lee Stubbs, 72, of Toms River died January 4, 2017 at Ocean Medical Center, Brick Township. She was born in Neptune Township. She was assistant purchasing agent for Lakewood Township before her retirement. She was a founding member of New Jersey Chapter of the National Organization of Women and served as state secretary of the organization. She was a published poet and an animal lover, especially dogs. Surviving are a brother and sister-in-law, Roland and Cindy Stubbs; a sister-in-law, Phyllis Stubbs; a nephew, Robert Stubbs; a niece, Ilyssa Estigarribia; a great nephew, Ryan Stubbs; two great nieces, Amanda Stubbs and Abby Estigarribia; and her dog Mickey. Visiting will be held at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold on Sunday from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. A memorial service will be held during the visiting hours at 3:30 p.m. Memorial donation to SPCA would be appreciated.
