Obituary of Giuseppe Cammarata

Giuseppe Cammarata, 93, of Beverly Hills, Florida, formerly of Staten Island, New York, passed away December 31, 2016 at Hospice House in Lecanto, Florida. He was a retired baker by trade who was devoted to his family. Born in Palermo, Sicily (Italy), April 20, 1923, he immigrated to the United States in 1956 and lived in the Elm Park section of Staten Island until relocating to sunny Beverly Hills, Florida in 2008. Giuseppe worked as a baker for the Zinicola Brothers and Licastri bakeries on Staten Island for over 43 years. He retired in 2000. He loved to garden and took great pride in his flowers and fig trees. Surviving is his daughter Vincenza(George)Breniak of Beverly Hills, Florida, Sons, Antonio(Laura)Cammarata of Staten Island, Frank(Rita)Cammarata of Inverness, Florida and Salvatore(Antoinette)Cammarata of Jacksonville, Florida, as well as a sister-in-law, Leonarda Fedele of Staten Island. There are also eight grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, four step-grandchildren and several great step-grandchildren. The funeral liturgy will be held on Friday Jan. 6th at 10am, at Saint Rose of Lima RC Church, 16 McLean St., Freehold, NJ 732-462-0859. Entombment will follow at Maplewood Chapel Mausoleum, 169 W.
