Obituary of John W. Blackwell

John W. Blackwell, lifelong resident of the Freehold area, died Nov. 14, 2016. Best known for his love of horses, he transported race horses for stables in and around Monmouth County for many years. He is survived by his wife, Marie Woolfolk Blackwell and daughters Yolanda Blackwell and Shavon Coleman. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 22, 2016 at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold, N.J.
