Obituary of Carol Jean Erndl
Carol Jean Erndl, 73, of Millstone Township died Tuesday, November 8, 2016 at home. Mrs. Erndl was born in New Brunswick.
She was a secretary at the New Jersey State Home for Boys, Jamesburg where she met her future husband who was also employed at the home. Carol was a loving and devoted wife and mother to her seven children.
She was an avid camper and proud to be a cancer survivor.
Her husband, John P. Erndl, died in 2009.
Surviving are three sons, John Patrick Erndl, Jr. and wife Doreen, Charles Paul Erndl and partner Michael J. Lunga, and Bryan Matthew Erndl and wife Lexine; four daughters, Colleen Meola, Maureen Minter and husband Jerry, Michelle Reynolds and husband Scott, and Mary Bridgit Ranney and husband Nicholas; a sister, Maria Ivins; and 12 grandchildren, Courtney, Caitlynne, Sabrina, Samantha, Ethan, Ryan, Brielyn, Collin, Kaley, Ennis, Alyssa, and Brixton.
A memorial gathering will be held at the New Egypt Elks Lodge, 105 Lakewood Road, New Egypt on Sunday, November 13 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers memorial donations to the Lustgarten Foundation https://www.lustgarten.org/ would be appreciated. Higgins Memorial Home, Freehold is in charge of arrangements.
