Obituary of Lee Darnell Perry

Lee Darnell Perry, 71, of Freehold died on Friday, November 4, 2016 at Preferred Care in Wall, New Jersey. He was born on April 4, 1945 in Neptune Township and was a lifelong Freehold resident. He was a member of the Bethany Baptist Church, Farmingdale, N.J. He also was a member and Past Exalted Ruler of Walter J. Conley Lodge, I.B.P.O.E., of Freehold and a former member of the Masonic Lodge. He was a trucking owner and operator. He was predeceased by his parents, Pearl and Harry Perry, and a brother, Larry Williams. Surviving are his wife, Annie M. Perry; three sons and daughters-in-law, Anthony and Margie Marks, Timothy, Sr. and Shelby Perry, and Lee, Jr. and Jeanette Perry; two brothers, Harry Perry and Stanley Perry; a sister, Lucy Schenck; nine grandchildren; and a great grandchild. The viewing will be held at the Bethel A.M.E. Church, 3 Waterworks Road, Freehold, N.J. on Saturday, November 12, 2016, from 8:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., followed by funeral services at 11:00 a.m. Entombment will follow at Maplewood Chapel Mausoleum, Freehold.. Higgins Memorial Home, Freehold is in charge of arrangements.
