Obituary of Jane Bazzoni

Erma Jane Bazzoni Age 76 Marlboro On Wednesday, October 5, 2016, Jane Bazzoni passed away peacefully at home surrounded by the love of her family with her children by her side. Born in Bronx, NY to the late Cora and Peter Bazzoni, Jane spent most of her life on Tennent Road in Marlboro. A 1956 graduate of Freehold Regional High School, Jane was an accomplished dance instructor operating Jane Keck Dance Studio for several years. Later she worked for 14 years as a self-taught Systems Administrator for RCA Astro Electronics (now Lockheed-Martin) where she developed a passion for a new computer program called Excel and took great pride in her status as an expert user. In her retirement she took an active interest in meeting people through her work as a volunteer with several local organizations. Interesting, smart and complicated, Jane set high expectations for herself and for others. She respected honesty, loathed hypocrisy and remained fiercely independent during her battle with COPD and lung cancer. She is survived by six children, Tammy Grillo, Charles Keck, Wendy Meszaros, Daniel Keck, Michael Keck and Marianne Kenny, grandchildren Megan & Emily Meszaros, Connor, Grace & Abby Kenny, Joseph and Catherine Grillo, Victoria Wingfield, Mackenzie, Garrison and Madelyn Keck and Madison & Morgan Keck, and a great-grandson Benjamin Wingfield. Her sons and daughters-in-law, affectionately called the “outlaws” include Vincent Grillo, Mary Keck, Jeff Meszaros, Tori Hartling Keck, Lori Keck and John Kenny. Jane was always an animal lover, especially her beloved rescue cats Raymond and Mamma Mia whom she made sure had good homes prior to her passing . Services will be private.
