Obituary of Colin Rogan

Colin Rogan, 74, of Freehold died on September 30, 2016 at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. He was born in Brooklyn and had resided in Matawan before moving to Freehold. He was a district manager for Getty Oil Company, Parlin before his retirement. He was a communicant of St. Rose of Lima Church, Freehold and a member of the Freehold Republican Club; the Monmouth County Republican Committee; Freehold Council No. 1672, Knights of Columbus; and the Heritage Foundation Leaders Club. His wife, Bernadette Rogan, died in 2011. He was also predeceased by a brother, Ronald. Surviving are five sons, Liam, Timothy, Eugene, Sean, and Brian Rogan; and three grandchildren, Sarah, Jacob, and Luke. Visiting will be held at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold on Tuesday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. The Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated on Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. at St. Rose of Lima Church, Freehold. Memorial donations to the St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1905 would be appreciated.
