Obituary of Ponciano Ambrosio Borromeo

Ponciano Ambrosio Borromeo, III, 52, of Freehold, passed away on Monday, September 12, 2016 at Bayshore Community Hospital, Holmdel. Born in Brooklyn, New York, he lived in Manhattan, New York, moving to Freehold in 1974, and had lived in Matawan for the past four years. Mr. Borromeo graduated from Christian Brothers Academy, Lincroft in 1982. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing from Rider College in 1986. He previously worked for Six Flags as a security supervisor for 10 years; and as a civilian contractor for Naval Weapons Station Earle. He was predeceased by his father, Ponciano R. Borromeo, in 1980. Surviving are his mother, Julita Cabildo-Borromeo, Princeton Junction; his brothers, Paul Borromeo, Freehold, Peter Borromeo and his wife, Theresa, Wilmington, Delaware, and Patrick Borromeo and his wife, Michele, Freehold; and his nephews, Noah Peter, Patrick, Michael and Christian Borromeo. A Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at St. Robert Bellarmine Church, 61 Georgia Road, Freehold on Saturday, September, 24, 2016. Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold is in charge of arrangements.
