Obituary of Marion Joan Chwalk

Marion Joan Chwalk, 85 of Marlboro Township, passed away on Monday, August 29, 2016 at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. Born in Jersey City, she lived in North Arlington and Bayville prior to moving to Marlboro Township three months ago. Mrs. Chwalk was homemaker. She was predeceased by her husband, Thomas E. Chwalk, her parents, Raymond and Mary Kenihan Davies; and her grandson, Matthew Novak. Surviving are two sons, Thomas Chwalk, Wood-Ridge, and Robert Chwalk and his wife, Julie, Freehold Township; three daughters, Sueanne Novak and her husband, Matthew, Mullica Hill, Mary Ann Chiesa and her husband, Michael, Stockholm, and Patricia Chwalk and her fiancé, Geoffrey Harisch, Hamburg; eight grandchildren, Thomas Robert Chwalk and his wife, Margarita, Kristyn Turturro and her husband, George, Abigail and Gage Roberts, Brandon and Ryan Chiesa, and Natalie, Hannah and Lily Chwalk; and four great grandchildren, Thomas Yanuel, Izabella, Nicholas and Mia. Visitation will be held at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold, on Monday, August 29, 2016, 2:00 to 4:00 P.M. and 7:00 to 9:00 P.M. A Funeral Liturgy will be held on Tuesday at St. Rose of Lima R.C. Church at 10:00 A.M. Interment will follow at St. Rose of Lima Cemetery, Freehold.
