Obituary of James R. Trotta

James R. Trotta, 67, of Freehold Township died Thursday, July 20, 2006 at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. Mr. Trotta was born in Newark and had lived in Freehold for the past 60 years. He was a security guard for the Nestle Company, Freehold before his retirement. Mr. Trotta was a communicant of St. Rose of Lima R.C. Church, Freehold. His greatest loves were his family, New York Yankees, a weekend in Atlantic City, and a dinner at Frankie Fed’s Restaurant. Surviving are his wife, Elizabeth Springsteen Trotta; a son, Richard J. Trotta, Brick Township; three daughters, April E. Moore, Brick Township, Sharon A. Trotta-Konopelski, Freehold, and Joanne L. Alt, Morganville; a brother, Jack Trotta, Jackson Township; eight grandchildren, Angela, Nancy, James, Jaymie, Joseph, J.D., Jena, and Jessica; and four great grandchildren, Jared, Dominick, Cameron, and Alexandra. The viewing will be held at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold on Friday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 P.M. The Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at St. Rose of Lima R.C. Church, Freehold on Saturday 10:00 A.M. followed by entombment at St. Rose of Lima Mausoleum, Freehold.
