Obituary of Clayborn Davenport

Clayborn Davenport, 37, of Freehold died Sunday, July 23, 2006 at Jersey Shore Medical Center, Neptune Township. He was born in Union Springs, Alabama and had resided in Monmouth County for many years. He was a security guard. Mr. Davenport attended the United Fellowship Church, Asbury Park. Surviving are his wife, Cristalette Wise Davenport; three sons, Clayborn Davenport, Jr. and Rashaan Lamar Davenport, both of Asbury Park, and Jashaan Davenport, Richmond, Virginia; two stepsons, Davon Wise and Kyle Bunting, both of Richmond, Virginia; his parents, Roby L. and Henrietta Davenport, Kansas City, Missouri; his stepfather, Robert Joseph Fitzpatrick, Manchester Township; a brother, Roby Lee Davenport, Jr., Kansas City, Missouri; and three sisters, Blanche Wilson Postell and Judy Denise Davenport Morris, both of Kansas City, Missouri and Lisa Davenport, Toms River. The viewing will be held at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold on Saturday from 1:00 to 2:00 P.M. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home at 2:00 P.M. followed by private cremation.
