Obituary of Shirley L.F. Davis

Shirley Letitia Fenton Davis, 70, of Freehold Township died Tuesday, August 1, 2006 at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. Mrs. Davis was born in Hightstown and had lived in Freehold most of her life. She was an administrative secretary for the Monmouth County Insurance Department, Freehold where she was employed for 37 years before her retirement six years ago. Mrs. Davis was a graduate of Freehold High School and attended Rider College. She was a member of Francis Hopkinson-Monmouth Courthouse Chapter, Daughters of the American Revolution and was a past president of the Freehold Borough Affiliated Republican Club. Surviving are her husband, Stanley A. Davis; a daughter, Sheri Letitia Davis, Toms River; and two grandchildren, Emily and Erin Mullen. Visiting will be held at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold on Thursday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 P.M. Funeral services will be held privately. Memorial donations to CentraState Medical Center would be appreciated.
