Obituary of Josephine Kuzava Smith

Josephine Kuzava Smith, 88, of Freehold departed this life on August 3, 2006 at the Montgomery Care Center, Freehold Township. She was the daughter of the late Adam and Cecylia Kuzava and was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur W. Smith, a brother, Edward Kuzava, and sister, Jennie Rooney. She was a seamstress for the Eisner Coat Factory and Polchak Coat Factory, both of Freehold before her retirement 26 years ago. Surviving are a son, Robert Arthur Smith and her best friend, Martha Smith, both of Freehold; a brother and sister-in-law, Raymond and Ruth Kuzava, Neptune; four nephews, four nieces, and several great nieces and nephews. The viewing will be held at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold on Sunday from 2:00 to 6:00 P.M. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Monday at 10:00 A.M. followed by interment at St. Rose of Lima Cemetery, Freehold.
