Lottie Canada, 86, of Freehold died Thursday, August 10, 2006 at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. Mrs. Canada was born in Fort Valley, Georgia and had lived in Englishtown before moving to Freehold over 55 years ago. Mrs. Canada was a packer for Apache Brand Tomatoes, Colts Neck Township before her retirement. She was the widow of Willie Canada who died in 1991. She was also predeceased by a daughter, Anne Davis. Surviving are two sons, Willie Canada and his wife Olivia, and Edward Canada; four daughters, Dorothy, Rosella and Lottie Canada, and Marie Williams and her husband, Samuel; a brother, Charlie Davis; a sister, Lizzie Cattle; 21 grandchildren; 51 great grandchildren; and four great great grandchildren. The viewing will be held at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold on Wednesday from noon to 1:00 P.M. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. at the funeral home followed by interment at Maplewood Cemetery, Freehold.
