Obituary of Herman Gershowitz
Herman Gershowitz, 95 of Wilmington, DE, formerly of Hightstown, NJ passed away on Wednesday, July 29, 2015 at Sunrise of Wilmington. Born in Windsor, NJ he lived there and in Monroe Township prior to moving to Wilmington.
Mr. Gershowitz was the owner of Auto Boys in East Windsor, NJ.
His wife, Thelma Gershowitz died in 2008. He was also predeceased by a daughter, Lynne Majewski.
Surviving are two sons: Nathaniel Gershowitz, Wilmington, DE; Michael Gershowitz and wife Karen, Huntington, NY and daughter Sharon and husband Matthew Dirig, Binghamton, NY and five grandchildren: Daniel Sullivan and wife Rachael, Jacksonville, FL, Aaron Sullian, Wilmington, DE, Matthew, Brooklyn, NY, Danielle, Brooklyn, NY and Brian, Huntington, NY; and a great grandson, Max Sullivan, Jacksonville, FL.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, August 2, 2015 at 12:30 P.M. at the Perrineville Jewish Chapel, Perrineville, NJ. Interment will follow at the Perrineville Jewish Cemetery. Higgins Memorial Home, Freehold is in charge of arrangements.
