Obituary of Robert K. Carr
Robert “Bobby” K. Carr, 43, of Freehold Township passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on September 5, 2006.
Bobby was born in South Amboy on January 21, 1963. He was raised in Englishtown and moved to Freehold Township in 1994. Bobby attended the Englishtown/Manalapan School System and graduated from Manalapan High School in 1981. Bobby worked for The Silver Tavern and Yorktowne Bar and Grill, Englishtown for a number of years. Most recently he was employed as a heavy equipment operator for I.U.O.E. Local No. 825, Jamesburg.
Bobby was a communicant of St. Rose of Lima R.C. Church, Freehold. He was a member of the Friendly Sons of Shillelagh, Old Bridge Township and was an avid sports fan. His favorite teams, The Yankees, Giants, and Norte Dame could always count on his support.
Bobby was a loving husband, father, son, brother, nephew, uncle, and friend. He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his devoted and loving wife, Jamie Weaver Carr, his loving daughter, Kasey Lynn and his devoted son, Robert James “R.J.”, both at home; his parents, Kathleen Carr Varano and Anthony Varano, Freehold and Bruce and Maureen Wagner, Howell Township; a brother and sister-in-law, Jimmy and Joy Carr, Pennsylvania; a sister, Crissy McCarty, Manalapan Township; his mother-in-law and father-in-law, James and Kathy Weaver, Freehold, two sisters-in-law and their husbands, Terry and John Thompson, Freehold and Leean and Thomas Paolino, Allenwood; nieces and nephews, Harrison, Shane, and Ciara Carr, Katie and Kristie Hoey, Michael Pirtle, Nikki and Kerianne Thompson, and numerous family and friends all who lived him very much.
Visiting will be held at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold on Friday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 P.M. The Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at St. Rose of Lima Church, Freehold on Saturday at 10:00 A.M. followed by interment at St. Rose of Lima Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial donations for Bobby’s children’s education may be made care of the family.
