Obituary of Rose Mermelstein

Rose Mermelstein, 88, of Rockville, Maryland died Monday, September 11, 2006 at Suburban Hospital, Bethesda, Maryland. Mrs. Mermelstein was born in Czechoslovakia and had resided in Lakewood before moving to Rockville. Mrs. Mermelstein was a seamstress for Loyal Cloak, Lakewood before her retirement. She was the widow of Irving Mermelstein. Surviving are two daughters, Ruth F. Kirschenbaum and Jeannie Morris; a brother, Sam Roth; and three grandchildren. Funeral services were held on Tuesday at the Holocaust Memorial Chapel, Lakewood followed by interment at Mount Sinai Cemetery, Lakewood. Higgins Memorial Home, Freehold is in charge of arrangements.
