Obituary of Robert Douglas Bennett

Robert Douglas Bennett, 56, of Freehold Township passed away at his home on Monday, September 11, 2006. He was a graduate of Fairleigh Dickinson University, Rutherford, Class of 1973. Bob worked in the home building industry for many years. He was predeceased by his father, John “Pete” Bennett,in March, 2006. He was a devoted son, brother, and uncle. Surviving are his mother, Helen Bennett, Freehold Township; his brothers and their families, Ronald and Valerie Bennett, Jackson Township, Jeffrey and Janet Bennett, Ocean Township, and Scott Bennett, Freehold Township; and his adored nieces, Megan and Cassie and nephew, Ryan. A kinder or gentler person will never pass this way again. The viewing will be held at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold on Thursday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 and 9:00 P.M. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Friday at 9:45 A.M. followed by interment at St. Rose of Lima Cemetery, Freehold.
