Obituary of Donald J. Cyrta
Donald J. Cyrta, 32, of Lumberton died Sunday, October 8, 2006 at Virtua Memorial Hospital, Mount Holly. He was born in Long Branch and had resided in Freehold and Monmouth County for most of his life before moving to Lumberton.
He was employed by Ace Bail Bonds, Asbury Park. He was a former member of the Adelphia Fire Company, Howell Township and the River Plaza Fire Company, Middletown Township. He was also an avid bowler. His greatest joys were his daughter and the future he was looking forward to with his upcoming wedding in February, 2007.
He was predeceased by his maternal grandfather, Robert S. Girling, III.
Surviving are a daughter, Patricia K. Cyrta, Middletown Township; his fiancé, Phyllis Iskowitz, with whom he lived; his parents, Frank Cyrta, Freehold and Veronica M. Cyrta, Pennsylvania; his sister, Katherine F. Cyrta, West Virginia; his maternal grandmother, Kay F. Girling, Middletown Township; his paternal grandmother, Mary Cyrta, Marlboro Township; a niece and nephew, Kianna and Christian Rodriguez; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins; and his biological father, Donald Soden and his family, Freehold.
Visiting will be held at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold on Wednesday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 P.M. Graveside services will be held at Fairview Cemetery, Middletown on Friday at 2:00 P.M. In lieu of flowers a trust fund has been established for his daughter. Memorial donations to the trust fund may be forwarded care of the funeral home.
