Obituary of Margaret Loretta Herrschaft

Margaret Loretta Herrschaft, 93, of Freehold Township died Sunday, October 29, 2006 at home. Mrs. Herrschaft was born in New York City and had resided in Staten Island, N.Y. before moving to Freehold Township six years ago. She was the widow of William Herrschaft who died in 1972. She was also predeceased by a son William J. Herrschaft and her brothers and sisters, Harold J., John, Edna May, and Ethel Downey. Surviving are a son, Edward G. Herrschaft, Millstone Township; a daughter, Margaret E. MacFarlane, Freehold Township; six grandchildren, Margaret, Alexander IV, David, Alison, Edward, Jr., and Cindy; and nine great grandchildren, Caitlyn, Erin, Margaret, Noelle, Angus, Ian, Fiona, Genevieve, and Rhiannon. Funeral services were held on Wednesday, November 1, 2006 at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold followed by interment at Ocean View Cemetery, Staten Island.
