Obituary of Francis A. Balbo

Francis A. Balbo, 84, of Lincroft died Monday, October 30, 2006 at Riverview Medical Center, Red Bank. Mr. Balbo was born in Monmouth Beach. He was a U.S. Army Air Corps veteran of World War II and served in the U.S. Air Force from 1949 to 1953. Mr. Balbo was employed by the Ford Motor Company before his retirement. He was a communicant of St. Mary’s R.C. Church, Colts Neck Township. He was predeceased by his parents, Joseph and Millie Palladino Balbo and a brother, Dr. Michael Balbo. Surviving are his wife, Patricia Grant Balbo; a son, Joseph F. Balbo, Lincroft; and a daughter and son-in-law, Patricia and Lee Gesner, Oakhurst. The viewing will be held in the Spiritual Center Chapel at St. Mary’s Church, Colts Neck on Thursday from 7:00 to 9:00 P.M. The Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at St. Mary’s Church on Friday at 9:00 A.M. followed by entombment at Woodbine Mausoleum, Oceanport. In lieu of flowers, Mass Cards or memorial donations to the Lincroft First Aid Squad would be appreciated. The Higgins Memorial Home, Freehold is in charge of arrangements.
