Obituary of Corrine Russell Ensley Davis
Corrine Russell Ensley Davis, 77 of Millstone Township died Saturday, Nov. 4, 2006, at home. Born in Englishtown, she lived there prior to moving to Millstone Township 42 years ago. Mrs. Davis was a member and auxiliary pioneered at the Jackson Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses, and loved discussing the Bible with people in the community. She was predeceased by a daughter, Marilyn Fernanda Davis; her parents, William and Bessie Lyman Ensley; a sister, Pauline Ensley Riller; and her father and mother-in-law, Jeremiah Phillip and Mary Ella Coles Davis. Surviving are her loving husband of 58 years, Melvin Philip Davis, four sons and daughters-in-law, Melvino Philip and Toni McGlown Davis, Allentown, Ricardo David and Tami Diaz Davis, Middletown, Kevin Anthony and Danielle Burke Davis, Frederica, Delaware, and Michael Keith Davis, Millstone Township; two daughters and a son-in-law, Paulette Davis, and Lorraine Lyman Davis Bruno and her husband Pasquale, all of Millstone Township; a brother, William Ensley Jr. and his wife Christine, Englishtown; ten grandchildren; her brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Vilma and Howell Lee, New Port Richey, Florida, Geneva Davis, Middletown, Gilbert Davis and Celeste Harris Davis, both of Red Bank, Loretta Pitts Davis, Long Branch, and Brenda and James Andrews, Neptune Township; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends and spiritual brothers and sisters of the Jehovah’s Witness faith. Relatives and friends may call at the Higgins Memorial Hme, 20 Center Street, Freehold on Tuesday evening, 7:00 to 9:00 P.M. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, November 8, 2006 at 1:00 P.M. Interment will follow at Old Tennent Cemetery, Tennent.
