Obituary of Patricia M. Beal

Patricia M. “Pattie” Beal, 50, of Freehold, NJ, died Wednesday, November 15, 2006 at Mount Sinai Medical Center, New York City. She was born in Marina di Pisa, Italy and could speak Italian, German and English by the time she was five years old. Pattie grew up primarily in Swampscott, Massachusetts, graduating from High School in 1974. She was a graduate of Southeastern Massachusetts University, School of Nursing in 1979. Pattie married Calvin Beal in 1982. She was a nurse, Navy wife and mother, living and working in Norfolk, Virginia and Great Lakes, Illinois before moving to Freehold in 1986. Pattie was an Emergency Room Registered Nurse at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township where she was employed since 1986. She dedicated her life to her family, friends, and patients. She was a mother, caregiver, and lifesaver. For enjoyment, Pattie delighted in scrapbooking and needlework. Pattie was predeceased by a son, Jessie and a daughter, Michelle. Surviving are her husband, Calvin; two sons, Jonathan and Andrew; her parents, Maximilian J. Fuchs and Ingeburg C. Fuchs; her Aunt Ruth Luedke; a brother Steven Fuchs; two sisters, Heidi Luise and Monica Fuchs; a nephew Kyle Fuchs; and a niece Lea Fuchs. Additionally, Pattie is survived by numerous German relatives whom she enjoyed visiting. Visiting will be held at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold on Monday from 4:00 to 7:00 P.M. Funeral services will be held at 7:00 P.M. A memorial mass will be celebrated at St. Rose of Lima Church, Freehold on Tuesday at 10:00 A.M. In lieu of flowers, contributions to an educational fund for Jonathan & Andrew Beal may be sent care of the family.
