Obituary of Elaine Marcus

Elaine Marcus, 73, of Freehold died Saturday, December 2, 2006 at Pine Brook Care Center, Manalapan Township. Mrs. Marcus was born in Brooklyn, N.Y. and had resided in Freehold for over 40 years. Mrs. Marcus was a member of Congregation Agudath Achim, Freehold. She was the widow of Stanley L. Marcus who died in 1995. Surviving are two sons and daughters-in-law. Robert and Marianne Marcus, Freehold and Donald and Ann Marcus, Lanoka Harbor; a brother and sister-in-law, Sam and Rosaland Sacknowitz; a sister, Phyllis Reynolds; seven grandchildren, Matthew, Sarah, Shannon, Rachel, Fayann, Casey, and Bailey; and a great grandchild, Quincy. Funeral services will be held at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold on Sunday at 2:30 P.M. followed by interment at Congregation Agudath Achim Cemetery, Freehold.
