Obituary of Wendelin Joseph Becker

Wendelin Joseph Becker, Jr., 51, of Manalapan Township died Sunday December 17, 2006 at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. He was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and had resided in Manalapan Township for 40 years. He was the proprietor of Becker Roofing, Inc., Manalapan Township and a sales representative for Bradco Supply Corporation, Lakewood. He was a communicant of Our Lady of Mercy R.C. Church, Englishtown; was active in Manalapan Soccer League; and a member of the Yorktowne Club, Manalapan Township. He was predeceased by a brother, Richard Becker in 2003. Surviving are his wife, LuAnn Milke Becker; a son, Louis Becker, at home; a daughter and son-in-law, Lindsey and Chris Colosi, Sewell; his parents, Wendelin J. and Dolores Peterson Becker, Manalapan Township; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Paul and Bette Becker, and Peter and JoAnn Becker, Manalapan Township; and two sisters and brothers-in-law, Dolores and Thom Farese, Spring Lake and Liz and Gary Higley, Manalapan Township, and 18 nieces and nephews. Visiting will be held at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold on Wednesday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 P.M. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Thursday at 10:00 A.M. Memorial donations to the American Heart Association, 2550 US Highway 1, North Brunswick, NJ 08902 would be appreciated.
