Obituary of Julia Mafera

Julia Mafera, 89, of Howell Township died Wednesday, December 20, 2006 at Care One at Wall Township. Mrs. Mafera was born in Brooklyn, N.Y. She was the widow of John Mafera who died in 1986. Surviving are a daughter and son-in-law, Diane and Michael Merola, Freehold Township and two grandchildren, Constance and Andrew. Visiting will be held at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold on Friday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 P.M. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Saturday at 9:45 A.M. followed by interment at Ocean County Memorial Park, Toms River.
