Obituary of Vasil Kobran

Vasil “Chuck” Kobran, 92, of Freehold Township died August 16, 2015 at Applewood Care Center, Freehold Township. He was born in Elizabeth. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1942 to 1946. He was an administrator for Rockafellow Construction, Matawan before his retirement. Surviving are his wife, Stella; a son, Christopher; two daughters, Pat Butch and Karen Licciardello; a brother, John; and six grandchildren. Visiting will be held at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold on Thursday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. followed by interment at St. Gertrude’s Cemetery, Colonia.
