Obituary of Vilma Fedek

Vilma Fedak, 98, of Manalapan Township died Monday, August 17, 2015 at home. Mrs. Fedak was born in Perth Amboy and had resided in Menlo Park before moving to Manalapan 45 years ago. She was a seamstress for the New York Girls Coat Factory, Perth Amboy before her retirement. Mrs. Fedak was a member of the First Baptist Church, Freehold. She was an avid New York Yankees fan, especially Derek Jeter. She was predeceased by her husbands, James Gerak and John Fedak; a son, James Gerak; and two sisters, Ann Hopson and Helen Kezi. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Surviving are a daughter, Marjorie A. Plesher; her grandchildren, Kimberley Turner and husband Richard, Jessica Gent and husband George, Rebecca Plesher, and Dayna Mondelli and husband Peter; and two great granddaughters, Madison and Taylor Gent. Funeral services will be held at the First Baptist Church, 81 West Main Street, Freehold on Friday at 10:00 a.m. followed by interment at Cloverleaf Memorial Park, Woodbridge. Memorial donations to the First Baptist Church Memorial Fund or the Englishtown-Manalapan First Aid Squad would be appreciated.
