Obituary of Howard W. Duffy
Howard W. Duffy, 85, of Marlboro Township died Tuesday, January 9, 2007 at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. Mr. Duffy was born in New York City and had resided in Kinnelon before moving to Marlboro Township 24 years ago. Mr. Duffy was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and was a member of the 12th Armored Division Association. He was an advertising agency Art Director before his retirement. Surviving are his wife, Jacquelin Benner Duffy; a son, Howard P. Duffy, Jersey City; two daughters and sons-in-law, Patrice and Lt. Colonel John Lambusta, U.S. Army, Williamsburg, Virginia and Janet and Jason Hine, Trenton; a brother, James Duffy, Paramus; and two grandchildren, Alexis and Michael. Visiting will be held at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold on Tuesday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 P.M. The Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at St. Robert Bellarmine R.C. Church, Georgia Road, Freehold on Wednesday at 9:00 A.M. followed by interment at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, Pennsylvania. In lieu of flowers memorial donations to the Salvation Army would be appreciated.
