Obituary of RoseMary C. Briggs

RoseMary C. Briggs, 69 of Freehold, died Wednesday, January 17, 2007 at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. Born in Freehold, she was a lifelong resident. Mrs. Briggs was a deputy court administrator for the Township of Freehold for 17 years, retiring five years ago. She was a lifelong communicant of St. Rose of Lima Church, Freehold. She was a member of the Court Clerks Association; and a former member of the Monmouth County Democratic Club. Surviving are four daughters, Mary Beth Briggs and her husband, Alfred Leach, III, Loxahatchee, Florida, Luanne Siverio and her husband, Robert DeSantis, Toms River, Kathryn Krause and her husband Frank, Freehold, and Heather M. Mitschele and her husband Eric, Statesville, North Carolina; a brother and sister-in-law, James R. and Eileen Crawford, Fort Myers, Florida, and nine grandchildren, Andrew Leach, Patrick Siverio, Thomas, Megan, Kevin, and Michael Krause, Brianna, Emily Rose, and Ryan Mitschele; and beloved cousins and many close friends. Relatives and friends may call at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold on Monday, January 22, 2007 2:00 to 4:00 P.M. and 7:00 to 9:00 P.M. A Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated on Tuesday at 10:00 A.M. at St. Rose of Lima Church, Freehold. Interment will follow at St. Rose of Lima Cemetery. Donations in her memory may be made to the Freehold First Aid Squad or St. Rose of Lima School.
