Obituary of Timothy Christopher Toner

Timothy Christopher Toner, 49, of Toms River entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, August 18, 2015 at Community Medical Center, Toms River. He was born in Tachikawa, Japan and raised in Howell Township. He was a graduate of Howell High School and Montclair State University. He was a meter and backflow specialist for Waterworks Supply Company, Farmingdale where he was a multiple performance award winner. Tim was an avid golfer and New York Giants fan. He was an animal lover, skier, enjoyed the beach and traveling and was known for his cooking and mischievous sense of humor. Surviving are his wife, Judith Fliedner Toner; two daughters, Sarah Wagner and Jodie Snyder and husband Nicholas; his mother, Mary Josephine Toner; three brothers, Eamonn J. Toner, Patrick S. Toner, and Kevin B. Toner; two sisters, Deirdre M. Spencer and Eileen M. Toner; and a granddaughter, Ava. Visiting will be held at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold on Friday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. The Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at St. Rose of Lima Church, Freehold on Saturday at 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers memorial donations to K9s For Warriors, 119 Camp K9 Road, Ponte Vedra, FL 32081 www.k9sforwarriors.org would be appreciated.
