Obituary of Anthony A. Nunziata

Anthony A. Nunziata, 62, of Freehold Township died Tuesday January 23, 2007 at Centrastate Medical Center, Freehold. Mr. Nunziata was born in Naples, Italy and resided in Freehold Township for the past 40 years. Mr. Nunziata was a successful Standardbred harness driver and trainer. He devoted his entire life to his race horses. Surviving are his wife, Anita Poliseno Nunziata, Freehold Township; one son, Jay Mota, Miami, Fla.; two stepsons, Robert Lake and his wife Wendy, Englishtown and Ronnie Lake, Freehold Township; one stepgrandchild, Robert Lake, Englishtown; a sister and brother-in-law, Jo Nue and James Esposito, Orlando, Fla.; one niece April Esposito, Orlando, Fla.; three brother-in-laws and six sister-in-laws. A private family mass will be celebrated on Friday, January 26, 2007. Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold is in charge of arrangements.
