Obituary of Helen D. Zimmerman

Helen D. Zimmerman, 84, of Freehold died Thursday, January 25, 2007 at home. Born in Hyde Park, New York, she lived in Tennent prior to moving to Freehold Township eight years ago. Mrs. Zimmerman was a homemaker. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Freehold. She was predeceased by her husband, Emil, in 1995. Surviving are two sons, Richard Zimmerman, Jacksonville, Florida, and William Zimmerman and his wife Karen, Germantown, Maryland; two daughters and sons-in-law, Marilyn and Thomas Rocco, Morganville, and Linda and William Ward, Abingdon, Maryland; two sisters, Carol Sedillo and Frances Kowalski, both of Freehold; nine grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren. Relatives and friends may call at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold on Sunday, January 28, 2007 2:00 to 4:00 P.M. and 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Monday at 10:00 A.M. Interment will follow at Old Tennent Cemetery, Tennent.
