Obituary of Michael P. Walsh

Michael P. Walsh, 57 of Freehold died Tuesday, February 6, 2007 at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. He was born in Brooklyn, New York and had resided in Freehold for the past four years. He was a custodian for Local 74, Long Island City, New York for 26 years. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of the Vietnam era. He was predeceased by two sisters, Rosemarie Walsh and Eileen Gonzalez; and a brother, Edward Walsh. Surviving are his mother, Agnes Moran Walsh; a brother, Daniel Walsh; and three sisters, Patricia Flanagan, Maureen Benter, and Deborah Ramos. Visiting will be held at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold on Thursday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 P.M. The Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at St. Rose of Lima Church, Freehold on Friday at 9:30 A.M. followed by interment at Long Island National Cemetery, Pinelawn, New York.
