Obituary of Anthony S. Cennamo
Anthony S. Cennamo, 76, of Freehold died Friday, February 16, 2007 at Bayshore Community Hospital, Holmdel Township. Mr. Cennamo was born in Brooklyn, N.Y. and had resided there before moving to Freehold five years ago. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War. Mr. Cennamo was a cutter in garment industry and a member of the International Ladies Garment Workers Union. He was a member of Freehold Council No. 1672 and American Legion Post No. 54, both of Freehold. Surviving are a son, Anthony C. Cennamo; a daughter, Maria Ragusa; three brothers, Jack, John, and Frank Cennamo; and grandchildren, Michael, Anthony, Jessica, Joseph, and Karlie. The viewing will be held at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold on Wednesday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 P.M. The Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at St. Rose of Lima Church, Freehold on Thursday at 9:30 A.M. followed by interment at the Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Arneytown. Memorial donations to the Cancer Institute of New Jersey Foundation, Tower 2, 5th Floor, 120 Albany Street, New Brunswick, NJ 08901 would be appreciated.
