Obituary of Charles L. Cromer
Charles L. Cromer, Sr., 73, of Freehold Township died Monday, February 26, 2007 at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. Mr. Cromer was born in Long Branch and had resided in Colts Neck Township before moving to Freehold Township in 1967. He was a machine operator for Circuit Foil, U.S.A. Bordentown before his retirement 17 years ago. Mr. Cromer was a former member of the Colts Neck Fire Company No. 1. He was predeceased by his parents, Charles E. and Arletta Weld Cromer. A brother, Gerald Cromer, died on Tuesday. Surviving are his wife, Evelyn Emmons Cromer; six sons, Charles, Jr. William, Donald and his wife Dawn, and James and his wife Debra, all of Jackson Township, John, Camden, and Robert and his wife, Christine, Morganville; two daughters, Barbara Ilaria and her husband, Greg, Manasquan and Susan Jaiyeola, Freehold; 22 grandchildren; and a great grandson. Visiting will be held at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold on Thursday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 P.M. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Friday at 10:00 A.M. followed by interment at Old Tennent Cemetery, Tennent.
