Obituary of Rose E. Lipski
Rose E. Lipski, 90, of Freehold died on Wednesday, February 28, 2007 surrounded by her family at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. Mrs. Lipski was born in Freehold and was a lifelong resident. Mrs. Lipski was a member of the Friendship Club at The Villages, Howell Township. She was a loving, giving, and supportive mother and loved by all who knew her. She was the widow of John W. Lipski who died in 1973. She was also predeceased by a grandson, Dr. John Silvey Thompson, III in 2003. Surviving are a son, John Edward Lipski and his friend, Carrie Doran, Missoula, Montana; a daughter and son-in-law, R. Eleanor and Norman L. Ward, Lafayette, California; a sister, Irene McCormick, Freehold; a brother-in-law, Patsy Caprioni; four grandchildren, John Joseph Lipski, Sarasota, Florida, Angela Lipski, Missoula, Montana, Christopher Thompson, Singapore, and Michael Thompson, Menlo Park, California; John Silvey Thompson III’s wife, Kelly Thompson; five great grandchildren, Madison, Sawyer, Ashton, Chayton, and Chenoa Thompson. Visiting will be held at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold on Thursday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 P.M. The Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at St. Rose of Lima Church, Freehold on Friday at 11:30 A.M. followed by interment at St. Rose of Lima Cemetery.
